Alex Henry Foster collaborates with Momoka to release the music video for “Nocturnal Candescence,” the second single from his upcoming LP, Kimiyo, set to be released on April 26th.
Expressing his admiration for Momoka’s unique spirit and artistic talent, Foster highlights their shared perspectives on life and spirituality. He emphasizes her integral role in conveying the essence of the project, allowing her to interpret the lyrical themes in her native language authentically.
Foster’s latest endeavor, Voyage à la Mer, delves into the complexity of human emotions, drawing inspiration from his introspective journey during a trip to Japan in 2010. The project, which encompasses poetry, music, and film, reflects on themes such as water’s symbolic significance, transformative experiences, and the interconnectedness of life and death.
Following a period of personal challenges, including a life-altering surgery and loss of voice, Foster reconnects with his creative spirit. He enlisted longtime friend Ben Lemelin and Momoka to bring his vision to life in the form of Kimiyo.
Throughout 2024, Foster plans to unveil multiple creative projects, including albums, a film, and live performances, highlighting his diverse artistic talents.
