Luna, the third album by Juho & the Jellyfish from Jupiter, is a guitar-driven instrumental journey that moves from kafkaesque soundscapes to futuristic cyberpunk cities and distant galaxies. The album shifts between ambient minimalism in tracks like “Finished Land” and complex time signatures on “Luna (When the Wanderer Arrived).”
Juho & the Jellyfish from Jupiter is a solo alternative rock project founded in 2020 and based in Turku, Finland. The music explores themes of anxiety and the climate crisis, drawing influence from artists such as Red Vox, the Mars Volta, David Bowie, and Lordi.
The 2020 debut, Ecostrophe, mixed traditional rock (Side A) with darker, more atmospheric elements (Side B). A more experimental and heavier double EP, Quarantine Diaries, followed in 2021. In 2024, the artist released Anxiety, a compilation of earlier EP material. Luna, released in 2025, marks a shift toward cinematic instrumental rock.
