Electronic music artist Michael C. Sharp has a new album titled Synth Vehicles for Guitar. This recording was originally scheduled for release last year but postponed due to the pandemic.
The Austin-based multi-instrumentalist is deeply influenced by krautrock and the great ambient electronic music artists. Sharp uses loop-based synth and guitar techniques.
Synth Vehicles for Guitar features hypnotic multi-layered motifs, rhythm-driven tracks and mesmerizing soundscapes. Strangely, it is released in digital and cassette.
