“We Are Looking In On You” is the new live album from one of the best space rock bands of all time, Hawkwind. This is a double set that features the best recordings captured during the band’s 2021 UK tour.
Hawkwind selected the finest material from their extensive and prolific career, including ‘Levitation’, ‘Spirit Of The Age’, ‘Hurry On Sundown’, ‘Right To Decide’ and ‘Space Is Deep’, together with newer popular tracks such as ‘Unsomnia’, ’Cave Of Phantom Dreams’ and ‘It’s Only A Dream’ from 2021’s well received studio album Somnia.
As you would expect, the album is full of dizzyingly fast rock, transfixing progressive psychedelic rock guitars and trippy electronics. Additionally, Hawkwind also treats the listener to moments of relative peace.
The lineup includes Dave Brock on guitar, vocals, keyboards; Richard Chadwick on drums; Magnus Martin on guitar, vocals; and Niall Hone on bass, keyboards. The live version of the band was reinforced with more fantastic keyboards performed by Tim “Thighpaulsandra” Lewis.
This is a 2 CD set. The vinyl edition will follow later in 2022.
