Catpack, a new project formed by Amber Navran (of Moonchild), Jacob Mann, and Phil Beaudreau, have released the debut song “What I’ve Found.” The trio, with distinct sounds and a deep friendship, brings a playful and cat-themed vibe to their project.
The debut single, created with a Roland Juno synthesizer, is a collaborative effort where all members fully embrace every idea. Amber Navran, known for her role in Moonchild, contributes her multilayered voice and production skills to Catpack. Jacob Mann, the keyboardist and clarinet player, and Phil Beaudreau, the trumpeter and singer, complete the trio.
“What I’ve Found” is a song about breaking free from holding back and taking up space, with Navran describing it as a declaration against those uncomfortable with your growth.
